Fishbourne Literary Festival Saturday 13th April 2024. A brilliant day out!

Hello and welcome to the Fishbourne Literary Festival 2024 lt is a truly delightful day filled with literature, discussion, and the company of some remarkable authors.

The line-up of authors, Kate Mosse CBE, Louis de Bernières, Gordon Griffin, and Dominic Holland, promises a diverse range of perspectives and literary styles. The addition of a ‘Getting Away With Murder’ panel with crime writers Nicola Williams, Greg Mosse, and Lesley Thomson adds an exciting element, sure to captivate fans of the mystery genre.

The picturesque village of Fishbourne, West Sussex, is a charming backdrop for this literary celebration. Attendees have the opportunity to engage with their favourite authors and also to explore the local setting, enhancing the overall experience.

The option to purchase and get books signed adds a personal touch to the event, allowing literature enthusiasts to take home a piece of the festival. The inclusion of a preloved book sale adds a unique touch, appealing to those who appreciate the charm of second-hand books.

And, of course, what literary festival would be complete without a cozy café? The prospect of enjoying lunch, drinks, and delicious homemade cakes adds to the overall ambience, providing a perfect setting for conversation and reflection inspired by the day’s literary offering.

A brilliant day out for both avid readers and casual literature lovers alike. The festival organisers wish everyone at the 2024 literary festival a day filled with inspiration, connection, and the joy of storytelling!

We think the speakers enjoy it too – with enthusiastic questions and queues for book signings.   It was good to receive this message from Deborah Moggach:

Thank you all so much! That was huge fun – lovely audience, a glorious church, warm hospitality – a fab way to spend Saturday! All the best Debby
